Absurd gnosis names the act of choosing awakening under conditions of full epistemic uncertainty — knowing that liberation may itself be another layer of simulation, and choosing it anyway. Not from faith, not from hope, but from the explicit foreclosure of the question's authority over the act. The position is developed through a unified philosophical reading of The Matrix tetralogy across seven registers: Descartes, Berkeley, Plato, Baudrillard, Gnosticism, Nietzsche, and Camus.
